Dr Paul Bradley is the author of the unique book ‘Football Decoded’, which was released in 2020. He is currently a Football Science Consultant for elite teams, national governing bodies and technology companies. He typically conducts translational work within an elite football setting that bridges the gap between cutting edge research and professional practice (e.g. not just research for research sake but work that adds value to the applied setting). One area he has pioneered recently is the contextualisation of match and training data and he is currently working with many elite organisations in this regard. He has published >80 papers and has >5000 citations in the science & football area.
Throughout his career to date, Adam has developed a unique blend of high-performance coaching experience & attainment of the UEFA Professional Coaching License whilst developing a very prominent & active academic profile. Adam’s experience & knowledge in professional football has seen him undertake & progress from elite youth academy to senior International level throughout his career.
Working within & leading successful management & performance departments throughout domestic & European club campaigns (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League), Adam has also been exposed to working abroad in a European club football setting as well as senior International level (European Championship & World Cup Qualification stages).
In 2015, whilst studying for a BSc in Sports Performance Analysis Harry joined Swansea City FC as First Team Assistant Performance Analyst. After 3 and a half years at Swansea, he moved to Beijing to become Head of Performance Analysis at Hebei China Fortune in the Chinese Super League. In 2019, Harry joined the Chinese Football Association to develop their Analysis Department whilst supporting the Senior and U19 teams during AFC Championship and World Cup Qualification. In 2020, he joined FIFA in their Technical Development Division as Football Performance Analyst.
Dr. Gómez is currently working in the Sports Science and Health Department of FC Barcelona as Physical Coach of the First Team Football and as a Professor in Sports Science Murcia University.
As a Physical Football Coach, he has national and international experience. In 2000, he started at Real Murcia SAD and, in 2006, moved to the UK to work at Liverpool FC for two seasons (2006-08). In England, he also represented Sunderland AFC (2008-2009) and Ipswich Town FC (2009-11). Between seasons 2012-16 became the Physical Trainer of the FC Barcelona B Team, and from 2016-18 has been working as a sport scientist and strength and conditioning of FC Barcelona first-team football. As a professor has been doing football and team sports classes in Murcia University, and participating in Masterclasses (football methodology, prevention injuries, football periodization, and strength and conditioning in team sports) at Universities of Lisboa, CAFD Castilla and León, INEF-C Cataluña, and Blanquerna Barcelona. Antonio has published many research articles in the science of football area and book chapters inside sport and medicine areas related to football and team sports.
Darragh joined the Sports Science department at Juventus FC at the beginning of the 2015-16 season following three close collaboration seasons while working with Mapei Sport (IT). His current role involves the organization and management of all Sport Science Testing programs throughout the club. His main roles include monitoring players' physical condition, providing physiological support, and developing applied research areas within Juventus's multi-disciplinary team.
Roger Spry is recognized as one of the top fitness and conditioning trainers in the world. His methods and ideas are used by the most recognizable players and teams at the International level. In fact, sixteen of the starting twenty-two players in the 2004 European Championship Final (Greece versus Portugal) were trained by Roger Spry. Roger has formerly coached the Austrian National team, during which he succeeded in helping the team qualify for 2016 in France for the first time ever.

Andreas got his Master in Sports Science at the University of Frankfurt (Germany) in 2007. The same year he was the head of performance at 1 FC Nürnberg (1st and 2nd Bundesliga - Germany). In 2012 joined Borussia Dortmund (1st Bundesliga, Champions- and Euroleague) as Athletic and Rehabcoach. In 2017 was appointed as head of performance. Since 2020 Andreas is the head of athletic, prevention, and rehabilitation at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Francisco is the performance coordinator for Sporting Lisbon and has previously worked as an S&C in elite rugby with the Chiefs Super Rugby franchise and the PRO14 team Glasgow Warriors. He holds a Ph.D. in Sport Sciences from the Waikato University in New Zealand and an MSc in Sport Sciences from the University of Lisbon - Faculty of Human Kinetics in Portugal. Francisco is a certified strength and conditioning coach from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CSCS) and the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA-level 2). He is a published author in the areas of neuromuscular responses and adaptations from training and recovery from training.
Wouter Frencken (Ph.D.) is Sports Scientist at FC Groningen and strives to maintain and improve a best practice where elite football, research, education, and business meeting. As a member of the first-team staff and is responsible for analytics, research, and innovation at the club to support the medical, scouting, and coaching staff and management to optimize decision making. Next to this, he: is responsible for technology and operations in the Outdoor Football Lab; represents FC Groningen in the Sportinnovator Center Groningen; is co-founder of Football Science Groningen and ambassador of 'Groningen, City of Talent.'
In May 2013, José founded and created the Performance Analysis Department in the Academy of Vitória SC, Portugal. Two years later, he took over as the Head of Performance Analysis Department as a whole in conjunction with the First Team Head Analyst.
Simultaneously, his past as an Academy coach as well the studies that José realized, mainly UEFA A and UEFA Elite Youth, gave a perspective of the relationship of Analysis with the training process.
In June 2019, José joined FC Shakhtar Donetsk as a Performance Analyst, integrating coach Luís Castro's technical staff, and becoming a winner of the Ukrainian PL, participating in the group stage of the Champions League, and reaching the Europa League semi-finals.
After studying International Sports Management (BA), Philipp joined Fortuna Düsseldorf as an intern in the scouting department in 2012. After winning the promotion, he got a job as a part-time scouting assistant and worked as a coach in the academy. The rapid digitalization and increasing demand for video analysis then let him become the first team analyst in 2015. Since then, Philipp is a part of the coaching staff and tries to assist the coaches with the best of his abilities.
Sam Scott is a driven Strength & Conditioning coach who leads an extensive youth athletic development program at Southampton FC. Sam's career to date has focused intensely on the youth footballing athlete. Since starting in 2012 with Southampton FC, he has remained in the youth age groups and has pushed for extensive research and insight into the developing youth athlete.
His role encompasses load monitoring, injury prevention strategies, and the optimization of movement. However, his biggest passion is understanding the impact of growth & maturation on player development and identification. He aims to be as evidence-based as possible to inform positive change to decisions and programming.
Michael Eppers, Head of Match Analysis Youth and Assistant Coach for the U19 of Schalke 04, started his way in professional football as a coach and analyst for 1. FC Kaiserslautern (2014-2017). After he graduated from the TU Kaiserslautern in sports and politics, he switched to his current club FC Schalke 04. Currently, his team includes six members directly working in the field of analysis. Next to his M.A., he holds the UEFA-A Licence.
Currently, He is a Football Operations Assistant at Red Bull Bragantino. His role essentially consists of assisting the Director of Football on daily football operations both on the technical and administrative aspects.
Before Red Bull Bragantino, he was working at Vaasan Palloseura (Finland) as Assistant Coach. In there, he was involved in opposition data and video analysis, set-piece strategy, and scouting.
In 2017 Rodrigo graduated at Marketing and Sports Management at Lynn University (Boca Raton – USA). Immediately after, he went to Lisbon to do a Post-Graduation of High-Performance Football Coaching at the University of Lisbon (Faculty of Human Kinetics). He also holds a UEFA B license.
Based in San Francisco, Karun is a software engineer working in the Applied AI space who also carries out independent football analytics research. He graduated from Cornell University's College of Engineering in 2018, where he majored in Computer Science with a focus on computer vision and machine learning. Having previously proposed the Expected Threat (xT) metric, he has more recently been particularly interested in exploring how large-scale data can help accelerate and augment existing sports analysis workflows.
Dr. Nils Betzler is Product Manager Life Sciences at Qualisys AB, Sweden. His focus is on how to apply state-of-the-art motion capture within Life Sciences to the benefit of researchers, coaches, athletes, and patients, and other end customers alike. Nils has gained more than 15 years’ experience in Biomechanics and Motion Capture, first studying Sports Engineering in Germany, later during his Ph.D. at Edinburgh Napier University. Nils started working for Qualisys in 2009, enabling the company to offer ready-made software modules for biomechanical analysis. This ultimately resulted in today’s product portfolio with modules for Clinical Gait, Golf, Running, Cycling, Baseball, and Functional Assessment as well as a comprehensive software platform for interactive web reports.
Amir has over 15 years in product management in multiple industries focusing on products that include software and hardware. Amir is focused on the value the user receives from the product and its ease of use. Prior to Track160, Amir held VP and senior product management roles at Mobilogy (a Cellebrite company), Siemens, and XVionics. Bsc in Computer Science and Economics from Tel Aviv University.
